Wears on Tour By Niki Blasina At fashion week in New York City, designers unveiled what’s in store for next fall — but downtown at Milk Studios in the Meatpacking district, design duo “The Blonds,” opted for catsuits, not coats, and gave a taste of what a certain twerking superstar will be wearing on her upcoming tour. “The Blonds are about glamour, we’re about setting the place on fire with electricity, absolutely pushing the boundaries,” said Phillipe Blond, one half of the platinum pair, in an interview before the show. Phillipe and David Blond, with their glam costumery, have developed a dedicated following of today’s top performers since launching their label “The Blonds” in 2008. Their fans include Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, among others, and the latest addition to their celeb following is none other than Google’s most-searched person of 2013: Miley Cyrus. Kevin Hart, left, and Michael Ealy on February 11, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. Getty Images “About Last Night” co-star Michael Ealy swears he and Kevin Hart don’t plot to star in major romantic comedies together, but admits that their rhythm and chemistry make filming “way more fun.” The duo, who are often cast as successful, yet supportive characters, starred in 2012’s “Think Like a Man” together and will appear in the sequel due out June 20. But “About Last Night” may catapult both men into leading-man territory. The movie opens this weekend and has received mostly rave reviews. Based on the 1986 film of the same name, which was in turn based on David Mamet’s play “Sexual Perversity in Chicago,” it follows both men as they sort through the complications of modern relationships. Hart and his on-screen love interest, played by Regina Hall, are the extreme couple that fall in love despite bombastic dysfunction (like, sex-in-chicken-masks dysfunction). Meanwhile, Ealy and his girlfriend, played by Joy Bryant, are slightly more relatable, confronting familiar issues like commitment-phobia and cohabitation. Ealy warned Speakeasy in an interview that the film is packed with raunchy humor, foul language and yes, nudity. To those headed to the theaters this weekend, he advises: “Buckle your seatbelt.” Here are excerpts from the interview. Have you been surprised by the success of “About Last Night”? The first time I saw it, I was in Atlanta and the audience’s reactions were reminiscent of “Think Like a Man.” At that point, I knew we were going to do well. People just responded to it, they were cracking up and really invested. I have to say it’s a funny, funny film. Kevin Hart and Regina Hall are the funniest male-female duo I’ve seen on screen in a long time. Their characters’ relationship is kind of a disaster, yet somehow, it mysteriously works. Everybody knows a couple like that.

Keef seemed to be adamant in his lean-sipping and trouble-making ways though, often ending up in the news because of it. It appears as though... Watch: Drake Discusses YMCMB, Working withJay Z and Kendrick Lamar's "Control" Verse on Hot 97 By Kyle Kramer | Sep 24, 2013 | 7:10 pm | Permalink Drake's been making the rounds to promote his new album, Nothing Was The Same, which is out today, and his latest stop was Hot 97. Today he paid Angie Martinez a visit to discuss, among other things, YOLO polos. In part two, he shared what he's been listening to lately (Chicago rappers Lil Reese and Lil Herb, as well as A$AP Ferg), clear the air about his relationship with the rest of YMCMB, discuss competition on Kendrick Lamar's "Control" and talk about working with Jay Z. On YMCMB, he said: "I've never been the guy that was just hanging around for the sake of hanging around. I think it's just becoming more evident now how much I'm not around because of how busy I've gotten." On rap battles and Kendrick specifically: Then let it be real, then. 'Cause those were harsh words, right? You can't just say that and then see me and be like nothing ever happened. That's not like the nature of battling. There's passion behind it. There's anger behind it. I personally enjoy making, like, great music and bodies of work over, like, being the talk of Twitter for, like, five days ... I don't know if it was worth it. Because there's a lot of people that were mentioned that I feel like can't really go back and fuck with that guy after that. On his relationship with Jay Z: "[It's] one of the strongest, if not the strongest [of with any rapper] ... He's just like an incredible mentor to me." Martinez also asked whether Drake feels like he's on Kanye West and Jay Z's level, and he responded respectfully, noting that "I'll forever be looking up at those guys." But that doesn't mean he's not willing to entertain some comparisons between NWTS and Yeezus or Magna Carta Holy Grail. "I do have the best album of the year, I will say that," he shared. In a third segment, he also shared thoughts on being himself, getting acting tips from Will Smith, wearing his Jaden Smith shirt and his thoughts on having a real relationship with someone. "I'm ready to start building," Drake explained. Among the candidates floated by Martinez were Kerry Washington (Drake: "she's married"), Halle Berry (Drake: "she would be here turnt to the max [promoting the album]"), Teyana Taylor (Drake: "childhood acquaintances") and former flame Serena Williams (Drake: "I'll always have a special place for her in my heart"). "It's hard to come up with new people because he already dated everybody," Martinez said, to which Drake predictably responded by hitting on Martinez herself and having to backtrack.
